On August 14, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Police Department CSDT said that he prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and executed a 3-month arrest warrant for Mr. Ngo Quang Thanh (45 years old, living in Chau Pha commune, TX. Phu My), Director of THT Vung Tau Joint Stock Company (hereinafter THT Company), unit that constructs works for Alibaba Real Estate Joint Stock Company (called Alibaba Company for short).
Mr. Thanh was arrested to investigate tax evasion.

THT Company was registered on March 28, 2017, headquartered in Toc Tien commune (Phu My town), specializing in the construction of construction works.
From 2017 to December 2018, Mr. Thanh signed a contract with Maluna Co., Ltd. 5 contracts to construct works related to the project of Alibaba Company in the communes of Chau Pha, Song. Mango, Toc Tien (TX. Phu My). The total value of construction works under the contracts is more than 51.3 billion VND.
Through the investigation, the CSDT police of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province determined THT was paid by Maluna Co., Ltd. by transfer to 2 personal accounts of the accused Thanh with the total amount more than 27 billion.

After receiving the money from Maluna Co., Ltd., THT Company does not issue invoices, declare VAT, only declare tax from Q1 2017 to Q1 2019 with sales of goods and services purchased more than 6 billion, no goods or services sold.
The CSDT agency determined that THT company has not issued invoices, declared VAT ... does not record and record in the company's accounting books with the amount of more than 27 billion VND received from Maluna Co., Ltd. construction of 5 construction contracts.
According to the investigation agency, Maluna Co., Ltd. is headed by Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Mai, wife of Nguyen Thai Luyen, Chairman of Alibaba Real Estate Joint Stock Company, as director.
